On October 19th and 20th, MECA, IASCA, USACi, and dBDrags all met up in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, for a unified Car Audio Finals. Team Zapco was there. Also there, were our friends from Team Audio Xperts in Vacaville, CA who represent for Zapco in California.
Official Team Zapco cars were entered in 4 classes and took first in every one. In fact, in the tough Modified Extreme Class Team Zapco took three of the top 4 places! Highlights? Kirk Proffitt, a Huntsville local, took the Triple Crown in IASCA. Of course he took 1st in Class, but he also took High SQ, High Install, and high RTA/SPL in single seat judging. That makes Kirk’s Acura the top single seat car in all of IASCA. Grace Hedrick took top honors and the championship in the Modified Street class, and we believe she is the first woman ever to take a world Championship in SQ. Of course Ally Miller over in Mod-Ex is just getting started and is already 3rd in the world. To read the complete article of the results of the Unified North American Finals “click here.”
